I hope you are doing wonderfully well. I have a quick dessert recipe that I just couldn’t wait to share with you. When it comes to dessert, many people, especially strict dieters tend to believe that enjoyment is out of the question as sweetness is often believed to be the enemy. “Sugar is addictive! I’d rather not have bite of that!” I often hear. If you share my belief; you just can’t picture life without dessert. Ok! Here is the deal! Sweetness does not necessarily come from added sugars. Foods such as fresh fruits, especially when at the pick of ripeness are naturally sweet (but you already knew that). What needs to be done is for one to train the taste buds to reacquaint them with natural flavors and tastes. And what better way to do that than have a rich dessert of fresh strawberries with yogurt!
5oz whole strawberries (Fresh)
1/8 cup plain low fat Greek yogurt
Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Slice the freshly washed strawberries in four equal pieces. Place the strawberry slices into a serving dish. Add the yogurt and the pinch of cinnamon to taste. Serve chilled.
